However, the city/county requires your bond to expire on 10/1. Your premium will be prorated to reflect the additional time required by the city/county’s bond form.
What happens now?
You will receive a follow up email or call indicating the quote amount. You may then indicate that you would like to proceed with the bond. If so, you will receive an email with payment instructions for the $100 premium charged by the surety company. This email will also include information about your surety bond for you review. Please make sure to check your junk or spam email folder if the email is not received in a timely manner.
How long does it take?
Not long at all! All we need from you is the signed surety bond quote letter mentioned above. This will allow you make changes to the bond and provide your payment method.
How do I pay for my surety bond quote?
We offer multiple forms of payment for your convenience. These payment methods include credit cards, ACH transfers, and checks. Your construction license bond will only be released once your payment has been received.
When will I receive my Construction License Bond?
Most bonds are issued the same day as payment has been received during normal business hours. You will receive a copy of your bond via email for your records. The original bond will then be sent to the address listed on your application. Additionally, you will have the option of choosing regular USPS mail or FedEx overnight shipping. With few exceptions, most overnight shipping requests can be accommodated if received prior to 2pm EST. In some cases, we can still get your bond out via overnight shipping if your request is received after 2pm for no additional charge. If not, your bond will be overnighted the next business day.
Do I need to sign an application to receive my bond?
No, you do not need to sign an application for this type of surety bond unless indicated prior to issuance.
